HAITI EARTHQUAKE UPDATEFebruary 8, 2010, 3:30 pm. A Free Methodist quake response team, icluding ICCM Director Linda Adams and Director of Advancement John Hay, Jr., were in Port-au-Prince Jan 25 to Feb 1. They delivered supplies, including water filters, for earthquake victims. They met with Haitian ICCM staff and assessed damage to ICCM schools and other facilities so plans and priorities for follow-up can be made. ICCM is responding to this crisis through our Special Projects Fund. All donations to this fund at this time (unless designated otherwise) are being directed to Haiti relief and recovery. More updates and info at www.helphaitiheal.org, the Free Methodist World Missions Haiti response site. Read this week's "Tuesday's Child" and ICCM Director Linda Adams' reflection "Life on the Solid Rock in Haiti." View our videoes "Haiti: A Day in the Life" and "Haiti Food Fund." Also Note to sponsors of Haitian children: If you sponsor a child whose sponsor number begins with HA600 through HA700, the child lives outside the area directly affected by the earthquake. If the Haitian child you sponsor has a sponsor number that begins with HA500, they are among children living within the areas affected both by the 7.0 quake on January 12. As soon as we learn if your sponsored child has been affected, we will make every effort to contact you. -- John Hay, Jr., ICCM Director of Advancement

Hungry. Thirsty. With little clothing. Needing education. These are daily experiences of the children you see on this site.
The Bible tells us to "feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty and clothe the naked." It's possible to do that for $21 a month...beginning today, right here. You your $21 ensures food, clothing, and education for a child. In addtion, it helps a child hear who Jesus is and change despair into hope and a future. Each child is connected to a caring church near their home.If you cannot personally provide $21, why not ask 20 of your friends to join you to give $1 a month to save a child's life? Find a way. Save a life. You CAN make a difference!
